Black Eyed Susan

Dedicate your Friday to the historic culture of Black-Eyed Susan Day. Each ticket offers open seating in the concourse sections, allowing you to flaunt your style and creativity as one of Pimlico’s oldest stakes races unfolds in front of your eyes.

Deep Eddy Crush Club
Upgrade your Black-Eyed Susan experience. Each Deep Eddy Crush Club ticket offers bottomless crushes and exclusive champagne bars.

The Black-Eyed Susan was first to run in 1919 as the Pimlico Oaks. The name was changed in 1952 to honor the beauty of the Maryland state flower and, over time, it became a day for women to relax and celebrate the magic of the fillies. Aside from the races, the day is filled with culture and activities that excite and engage crowds in new ways each year.

On the Grandstand Apron from noon till six, stroll through a collection of shops, boutiques, and businesses owned exclusively by women.
