The Preakness Stakes is an historic American thoroughbred horse race held on the third Saturday in May each year at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. It is known as the Middle Jewel (second race) of the famous Triple Crown series of horse racing which includes the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes.

Wristbands will be distributed on the day of the event for Clubhouse Dining and other Premium & Suite areas and will not be shipped. Tickets for these areas will be scanned a second time upon entrance to the designated area and a wristband will be issued for each ticket. The wristband will allow for easy re-entry.
No, re-entry is not permitted once you leave the race track. Every individual entering must have a valid, unscanned ticket to enter.

The closest accessible parking lot is VIP Hayward Parking Lot; located 80 feet of the Grandstand entrance.
The Infield entrance on Pimlico Road is accessible but has uneven ground when crossing the track. The best entrance for accessible patrons that park in Preakness Way Lot 4 is the Rogers Gate entrance on Rogers Ave.
Pimlico does NOT provide shuttles from any of our parking lots to the facility.
We suggest fans arriving at Pimlico by car on Preakness Day allow sufficient time for convenient access in entering the track. Facility admission gates open at 9:00 a.m. on Preakness Day with a first post of 10:30 a.m. The InfieldFest and the first crossover to Preakness Village and Turfside Terrace open at 9:30 a.m.
Traffic flow will be the lightest before Noon, and wait times could be lengthy between Noon-3 p.m.
