BALTIMORE, MD 05-08-09---The 2009 Preakness Parade of Lights will be held on Friday, May 15, at 8:30 p.m. This year the parade will feature illuminated floats, bands, giant balloons, equestrian units and the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales.The 2009 Grand Marshal is Baltimore’s own Stacy Keibler, who the next day at Pimlico Race Course will be the celebrity host of the InfieldFEST, presented by Bud Light, at the 134th Preakness® Stakes.
The Preakness parade steps-off on Pratt Street and Eutaw Street and continues east on Pratt Street to Market Place. Spectators can catch the best views of the parade near the reviewing stand located on the northwest corner of Pratt and Light streets.

MECU's Pee Wee Preakness
When: Tuesday May 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
What: Just for kids, MECU Baltimore's Credit Union presents the Pee Wee Preakness, where tiny tots will bounce their way to the finish line on roly-poly Hippity Hops. The “Mini Preakness” will take place at the Federal Hill Park in Downtown Baltimore.
Preakness Frog Hop
When: Wednesday May 13, 2009 at 12:00 p.m.

19th Annual Preakness Crab Derby
When: Thursday May 14, 2009 at 12:00 p.m.

The 36th Preakness Parade
When: Friday, May 15, 2009 at 8:30 p.m.
What: The 36th Annual Preakness Parade will take place on Pratt Street in the heart of the Inner Harbor. Be dazzled by colorful floats, helium-balloon characters, equestrians, marching bands, military units and the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The Parade will step-off on Pratt Street and Eutaw Street, proceed down Pratt Street, and end at Market Place.
