Black-Eyed Susan Day to Feature Trio of $300,000 Guaranteed Pools

BALTIMORE – Friday’s 14-race Black-Eyed Susan program at Pimlico Race Course – featuring seven stakes races and more than $1.15 million in purses – will offer bettors three $300,000 guaranteed pools.
 
The first $300,000 guaranteed pool will be the Pick 5 beginning in the seventh race. There are 65 horses entered in the Pick 5 sequence, which will have the following races:
$300,000 Pimlico Special (G3)
$100,000 Hilltop Stakes
$150,000 Adena Springs’ Miss Preakness Stakes (G3)
$100,000 Jim McKay Sprint
$250,000 Black-Eyed Susan (G2)
 
The first $300,000 Pick 4 will begin with the eighth race. The races in the sequence will be the Hilltop, Adena Springs’ Miss Preakness Stakes, Jim McKay and Black-Eyed Susan. 
 
The final $300,000 Pick 4 begins in the 11th race with the Black-Eyed Susan. The 12th race will be a $52,000 allowance event at 5 furlongs on the turf, the 13th will be the 24th running of the $100,000 Skipat, and the 14th and final race will be a maiden event for 3-year-olds and up on the turf.
